Seer

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 17, 2026

Seer is a geopolitics and history AI assistant for iOS and Android, operated by Tudor-Constantin Craciun, an individual based in Romania ("we", "our", or "us"), with contact address Str. Pantelimon 25, Iași, Romania. This policy describes how we handle information when you use the Seer mobile application (the "App").

Our Terms of Use also apply to your use of the App.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the App, we may process:

On your device, the App may store chats, article analyses, preferences, and topic or news-source settings until you uninstall the App, clear its data, or use in-app deletion.

How We Use Information

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Legal Bases

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on these bases:

Third-Party Services

We use service providers that process data on our behalf or as independent controllers for payments. These include:

These providers process data under their own privacy policies and terms.

International Transfers

Our providers (including Google) may process data outside Romania and the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the provider's other lawful transfer mechanisms.

Data Retention

On-device data remains until you remove it (uninstall, clear app data, or in-app delete).

On our servers, we retain short-lived operational records (such as rate limits and temporary caches) only as long as needed to operate the service, after which they expire under normal retention. Subscription- related records may be kept as needed to manage entitlements. Cloud logs and diagnostics may be retained according to our infrastructure providers' retention settings.

Third-party providers retain data according to their own policies.

Your Rights and Choices

On this device: use "Delete my data" in the App, or uninstall / clear the App, to remove chats, analyses, and preferences stored locally. This is the primary way to delete data associated with your use of Seer. It does not cancel a store subscription.

Server-side data: the App uses anonymous authentication and does not create a personal profile or contact identity we can look up. Because of that, we generally cannot identify which server-side technical records (if any) relate to a particular user from an email alone, and we cannot perform a targeted server-side erasure on request. Those operational records are not used to build an advertising profile and expire under normal retention.

If the GDPR applies, you may still contact us about your rights. Where we cannot locate data tied to you, we will explain that limitation. You may lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP) or your local supervisory authority.

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store or Google Play.

Children's Privacy

Seer is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version. For material changes, we will update this page and, where reasonably feasible, provide notice in the App.
